Champion Bermuda greens

A favorite among Ford’s Colony members, Blue Heron offers 18 continuous holes with long par 3s, fair par 4s and intimidating par 5s. Generous fairways wind through dense wetlands, while Champion Bermuda greens provide smooth playing surfaces throughout the year.

Signature Hole: 4th Hole The par-five fourth is considered Blue Heron’s toughest hole, with a water hazard lurking behind a fairway bunker off the tee. Many golfers must play safely on their second shot, creating a very demanding approach into a small, well-protected green.

Marsh Hawk is the original Ford’s Colony course, with narrow tree-lined fairways, natural lakes, strategic bunkering and elevation changes. A true shot-maker’s course, its doglegs reward precise positioning, smart decisions and confident approach play.

Signature Hole: 7th Hole The signature seventh hole features a strategic dogleg where a precise tee shot is essential, as misses left or right can be heavily penalized. The second shot requires careful placement into a protected green, rewarding accuracy and thoughtful course management.

Blackheath is a links-style course and Ford’s Colony’s most picturesque, with water coming into play on 13 of 18 holes. Its memorable finishing stretch builds toward the 18th, where an island green creates a distinctive, dramatic conclusion to the round.

Signature Hole: 4th Hole Blackheath’s signature fourth hole is a daunting, true three-shot par 5 featuring a 90-degree dogleg into the approach. The course is also defined by its closing stretch, holes 16 through 18, culminating with an island green on the final hole.
